Construction case:

Case summary:

1. For pipe jacking construction on sandy soil layers containing a large amount of groundwater, necessary water-stop measures should be taken according to the construction requirements, such as double-layer waterstops or even high-pressure rotary jetting water-stopping to prevent the massive gushing of groundwater from the entrance of the cave. 

2. When pipe jacking is carried out on loose sand soil, the machine head should be pushed slowly when entering the hole. The mud inlet and discharge pump can be temporarily closed to prevent the hole from being washed out. After a certain distance, the mud inlet and discharge pump shall be turned on for circulation.

3. For soil pipe jacking construction, attention should be paid to the comparison between the amount of ground cutting and the amount of slag produced to prevent the underground soil from collapsing and losing with the circulation of mud and water, causing later ground settlement. When necessary, small pump volume jacking or intermittent sludge discharge can be used.
