From September 19th to 23rd local time, Governor Xu Kunlin of Jiangsu Province led a delegation to visit Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan, earnestly implementing the important consensus reached by the heads of state of China and Kazakhstan, China and Uzbekistan, consolidating and expanding the relevant achievements of the first China-Central Asia summit, deepening all-round and multi-field exchanges and cooperation, and working together to write a new chapter of local cooperation. Yang Dongsheng, chairman of XCMG Group and XCMG Machinery, accompanied the Jiangsu delegation to participate in relevant activities.

On the afternoon of the 20th, the China (Jiangsu)-Kazakhstan Economic and Trade Cooperation Exchange Meeting was held in Almaty. More than 200 Kazakhstani enterprises and more than 50 Jiangsu enterprise representatives participated, and 16 key cooperation projects were signed on the spot. Xu Kunlin expressed his welcome to the guests attending the meeting and his gratitude to all sectors of society who have long cared for and supported Jiangsu's development. He said that Jiangsu is comprehensively advancing the new practice of Chinese-style modernization in Jiangsu along the direction guided by President Xi Jinping. Kazakhstan is building a thriving "new Kazakhstan". The cooperation between the two sides has ushered in unprecedented opportunities and a broader space.

At the meeting, Yang Dongsheng, as a representative of Jiangsu enterprises, signed relevant procurement cooperation agreements and long-term strategic cooperation agreements with local governments and enterprises. On the afternoon of the 22nd, Yang Dongsheng was invited to attend the China (Jiangsu)-Uzbekistan (Kashkadarya Region) Business Forum and made an exchange speech. XCMG is China's largest engineering machinery manufacturer, with a development history of 80 years, committed to becoming a global leading high-end equipment industry manufacturer. Yang Dongsheng said in the exchange that Uzbekistan is an important strategic layout country for XCMG in Central Asia. President Mirziyoyev pays great attention to XCMG's development in Uzbekistan. He has inspected the joint venture company twice in 2020 and 2022, which gives us strong confidence to take root in Uzbekistan.

Yang Dongsheng said that there is a saying in Central Asia that "you get what you pay for, you reap what you sow". XCMG Uzbekistan Company has created more than 100 jobs for the local area and sent nearly 20 employees to China for training and exchange. While promoting bilateral cooperation, it has accelerated Uzbekistan's industrialization process. XCMG will continue to work with Uzbek partners to develop high-quality products and help Uzbekistan's economic development. He also invited guests to visit Jiangsu and XCMG Group to further deepen cooperation.
