XCMG's Hundreds of Equipment Support Chengdu's “Universiade”
The 31st Summer FISU World University Games opened grandly in Chengdu on July 28th. This “Universiade” is the third time in mainland China after the Beijing Universiade and Shenzhen Universiade, and also the first comprehensive international sports event held in the western region of China.
Chengdu Andong Lake Sports Park, located in Longquanyi District of Chengdu, is the core supporting project of this “Universiade”, including the main stadium of the Universiade- a 40000-seat comprehensive stadium, 18000-seat multi-function stadium, 5000-seat swimming and diving pool and comprehensive small ball stadium.
This world-class venue, with a building area of approximately 320000 square meters, took only 23 months from construction to completion. During the peak period of the project construction, nearly 70 construction units of all sizes were present, and over 4200 staff worked 24 hours without interruption, breaking the pace of venue construction at the same level, scale, and level.
To ensure the smooth completion of the project, since the start of construction, XCMG has engaged in more than ten categories of lifting machinery, loaders, concrete machinery, road machinery, and a total of hundreds of equipment participating in the construction, and has provided a service team of nearly a hundred people for the project.
