It is understood that the first-level desalinated water tank equipment of the crude distillation unit area (CDU unit) of the Dangote Refinery Project in Nigeria is hoisted. The total height is 36.57m, the diameter is 4.2m, and the total weight is 370 tons.

Faced with the pressure of epidemic prevention and construction, XCMG Nigeria Dangote project service team has done a good job in safety and epidemic prevention on the one hand, and on the other hand, it has formulated complete equipment commissioning work before construction of the project, calibrated the value of the empty tick, and equipped electrical hydraulic engineers to deal with unexpected situations during hoisting, and provide users with detailed parameter references.

The hoisting is carried out by a 650-ton crawler crane and an 800-ton crawler crane. These two equipment running smoothly, hoisting and rotating construction was done in one go, hoisting objects were perfectly hoisted to the designated installation position, hoisting operation was a complete success, and the excellent performance of XCMG equipment was once again praised by users and project constructors!

Not far away, XCMG V7 complete sets of concrete machinery showed great power. In the face of the harsh environment and lack of sufficient water sources, in the flowing yellow sand, the construction party successfully overcome the difficulties of fixed foundations, sandstorms, and water shortages, and once again demonstrated to the world Chinese strength!

At the site, several XCMG pump trucks extended their long arms, and hundreds of XCMG mixer trucks shuttled back and forth for uninterrupted construction. Continuous high-strength pouring of 6000 square meters was completed, successfully completing the pouring task.

Nigeria, a country with large energy resources in Africa, is the largest oil producer and exporter in Africa. The Dangote project there is currently XCMG’s largest project in Africa.
