On February 12, 2024, the third day of the Lunar New Year, when thousands of families were reunited and celebrating the New Year, a XCMG Mexican partner appreciation event was held grandly in Monterrey, Mexico. XCMG Fire Protection, International Business Headquarters Central America Region, Nuevo León state government officials and more than 100 partners gathered together to renew friendship, seek common development and look forward to the future.

XCMG will enter Nuevo Leon in 2021 and build its first factory in Mexico in 2022. It will increase its production capacity overseas and build a second production base in Mexico. Many media in Mexico reported that it will create about 300 new local job opportunities and help local economic development.

Iván Rivas Rodríguez, Minister of Economy of Nuevo Leon State, congratulated XCMG on its achievements in the Mexican market and expressed his gratitude for its contribution to local economic development. Li Qianjin, assistant to the president of XCMG Machinery and general manager of XCMG Fire Protection, first conveyed New Year greetings and sincere thanks from Yang Dongsheng, chairman of XCMG Group and XCMG Machinery. He thanked the Mexican partners for their long-term support, help and trust in XCMG, and said that in the future, he will continue to work intensively in the Mexican market, increase resource investment, promote local operations, and fully build a digital, intelligent, and modern factory.

In August last year, Chairman Yang Dongsheng went to Mexico for an inspection to gain an in-depth understanding of the operation of XCMG factories in Mexico and its development in the Central American market, and worked with dealers to jointly promote the construction of the Central American region.

In 2023, XCMG made a good start in the Mexican market. The export sales of aerial work equipment increased significantly and its market share increased significantly, demonstrating its strong strength in entering the international market.

In 2024, XCMG will comprehensively improve its international R&D capabilities, improve the construction of after-market services and spare parts systems, and achieve rapid improvement in the localized operation capabilities of overseas factories.
