Recently, due to the impact of Typhoon "Bebinca," Suixi County in Anhui Province experienced heavy torrential rains, with multiple areas submerged in floodwaters. The city turned into a vast expanse of water, and various sectors, including road transportation, power supply, and communications, were affected to varying degrees. The flood control situation became severe and complex. In response, XCMG swiftly assembled an emergency flood drainage task force and deployed six pieces of flood drainage rescue equipment overnight, rushing to the frontlines to provide solid and reliable equipment support for the flood rescue efforts.

Sanlong Branch River is an old river channel within the Suixi urban area that normally carries a small volume of water, flowing into the Long River through a culvert in the city. However, under the influence of Typhoon "Bebinca," the water level of Sanlong Branch River rose sharply, almost reaching ground level. Water overflowed the riverbanks, flooding nearby roads and residential areas. The small culvert at the river’s confluence with the Long River, coupled with the slow water flow, made it difficult to handle the increased volume of water. Even after the rain had stopped, the water level remained high. XCMG rescue personnel promptly responded to the emergency and rushed to the scene.

After assessing the situation, the rescue team deployed the vertical flood drainage rescue truck GP35C, lifting its boom over the railing. The truck, capable of horizontal obstacle clearance up to 4 meters and vertical clearance of 1.5 meters, operated at full capacity to pump the floodwater. Working around the clock, the team accelerated the drainage of Sanlong Branch River into the Long River. As of 5:00 p.m. on the 20th, the GP35C was operating at maximum power, with an average flow rate of 3,000 cubic meters per hour. Two discharge outlets, each connected to a 60-meter hose, worked continuously for 27 hours, discharging over 80,000 cubic meters of water.

After two days of continuous operations, XCMGs flood drainage equipment had drained more than 120,000 cubic meters of water, effectively mitigating the flooding risks in the residential areas. The XCMG drainage equipment received widespread praise from local residents for its outstanding performance.
