Two Presidents Praised the Uzbek XCMG Joint Venture
According to local media reports in
Uzbekistan, on 3rd June local time, Tajikistan President Emomali
Rahmon, accompanied by Uzbekistan President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, visited UZXCMG,
a joint venture of Xuzhou Construction and Machinery Group (XCMG) in Urgench.
Two Presidents and their delegation went
into the assembling department of UZXCMG to learn more about the production and
operation of the company.
The person in charge of the company
expressed that, XCMG is a world-renowned construction machinery enterprise with
the most comprehensive product line, advanced and reliable product technology
and quality assurance. It ranks third in the world in the Yellow Table
released by KHL, a well-known information group in the global construction
machinery industry.
XCMG and Uzbekistan National Railway
Corporation established a joint venture company UZXCMG in 2014 to start local
production. Uzbekistan is an important strategic layout country of XCMG in
Central Asia. The equipment produced and sold by the company, such as hydraulic
excavators, bulldozers, loaders, rollers, graders, etc., have ranked first in
the market share of Uzbekistan construction machinery for consecutive years,
and are gradually spreading to surrounding countries.
The two presidents highly appreciated
the production achievements and development scale of the UZXCMG, watched the
simulation operation display on XCMG simulation demonstration equipment with
great interest, and expressed heartfelt thanks and high recognition for XCMG's
contributions to Uzbek and Central Asian countries. The presidents and their
entourage were deeply impressed by the modern factories and delicate equipment
created by leading technologies.
President Mirziyoyev’s first visit to UZXCMG
was in 2020, and the production scene impressed the president. This time, Mirziyoyev
was surprised by the development of the enterprise in two years, and was touched
by the technological innovation of the enterprise. The President hoped XCMG
could make greater contributions in promoting employment, infrastructure
construction and export in Uzbekistan.
In the future, XCMG will work closely
with Uzbekistan's ‘steel alliance’ to ensure the healthy development of the
joint venture and jointly bring more benefits to the people of Central Asian
countries.
