New Record of XCMG XDN3000-R Pipe Jacking Machine
Recently, in the Qingdao Power Utility Tunnel Pipe Jacking Project, the XCMG XDN3000-R pipe jacking machine set a new record for rock penetration hardness, surpassing the previous record held by XCMG's large-diameter pipe jacking machines, establishing a new benchmark in the trenchless engineering field.
The Qingdao Power Utility Tunnel Pipe Jacking Project has a total construction length of 57 meters and a pipe diameter of DN3000. Faced with a confined construction site and complex geological conditions, the XCMG XDN3000-R pipe jacking machine achieved a remarkable daily advance of up to 10 meters, successfully penetrating rock formations with a hardness of up to 160 MPa.
The XCMG XDN3000-R pipe jacking machine's outstanding performance in such harsh environments is attributed to its advanced technological features. The machine is equipped with a high-power cutterhead and a high-torque gearbox, providing excellent rock-breaking capabilities. Its main jacking system features a fine-tuning mode, allowing for millimeter-level precision control, ensuring accurate and efficient construction. Additionally, the machine's flexible mud in/out system effectively addresses challenges such as slag accumulation and high pipeline friction, providing strong support for smooth construction.
During the construction process, XCMG's service team demonstrated a high level of responsibility and dedication. Faced with the complex environment of the site and its surroundings, the XCMG team was on standby 24 hours a day, ready to provide technical support and solutions at any time, ensuring the smooth progress of the construction.
