1. Do not charge in a high temperature or enclosed environment. Excessive temperature can cause the electrolyte of lithium batteries to decompose, resulting in loss of active lithium and reducing the battery's effectiveness and cycle life.

Tip: The optimal charging temperature for lithium batteries is around 25 ℃ (± 5 ℃), and the maximum should not exceed 45 ℃. During the charging process, the forklift should be placed in a cool and ventilated place. Try to keep the wires at both ends of the charger exposed to the air and avoid covering them with other obstructions that may affect the heat dissipation of the charger.

2. Avoid prolonged exposure to rain. Prolonged exposure to rain on lithium batteries (which can withstand short periods of rainfall) may cause water to enter the battery casing, leading to internal short circuits or overall battery failure.

Tip: Avoid prolonged outdoor work on rainy days. Cover the forklift hood, use a waterproof raincoat for protection, or park the forklift indoors to prevent rainwater from getting into the charger and causing damage.

3. Lithium batteries may not be fully charged multiple times in a row, which may result in inaccurate battery level. It is recommended to fully charge them once every half month to 100%.

Tip: Develop a good habit of recharging during free time and not running out during busy time. Try to avoid frequently charging or discharging the battery to 100% or zero charge.

4. If the battery is not used for a long time in summer, it is recommended to charge it to 50% -60% before storing it in a dry and cool place. Normally, lithium batteries in inventory should be charged and discharged every 3 months.
