At Meizhou Bay Port in Fujian Province, XCMG's eight large tonnage cranes jointly lifted the steel frame, carrying out a magnificent hoisting project.

Meizhou Bay Port locates on the west bank of the Taiwan Strait. As a multi berth deep-water port in the central coastal area of Fujian Province, it has a strong development momentum and a high demand for construction machinery.

Recently, XCMG's ‘hoisting regiment’ arrived the construction site. Four 80 ton, one 110 ton, one 130 ton, one 220 ton and one 300 ton cranes joined the hoisting.

This hoisting required five steel structure grids to be spliced at an altitude of more than 50 meters. Tight deadline brought more difficulties to the task. In order to ensure the smooth progress of the hoisting, the construction company professionally allocated on-site resources. With the strong performance, XCMG cranes completed the aerial hoisting and splicing of the steel structure grid in less than 6 hours, 2 hours ahead of schedule.

‘This project has high requirements for the hoisting performance of cranes. We have cooperated with XCMG for 18 years. XCMG cranes are solid and durable. The luffing compensation control technology and automatic working condition planning technology have helped a lot!’ said Mr. Tan.

The constructor chose XCMG as the only brand on site. They believed that the cranes of the same brand would have a better cooperation in difficult construction operations.

There are still some hoisting tasks of steel structure grid in the next two months. More XCMG's 50 ton and 80 ton cranes are on their way to Meizhou Bay Port for the final completion.
