Jiangsu Bookstore Was Established in XCMG Brazil, Witnessing the Friendship Between China and Brazil
Recently, the closing ceremony of the series of celebrations for the 25th anniversary of the friendship between Jiangsu Province and Minas Gerais and the establishment ceremony of Jiangsu Bookstore in Brazil were held online and offline. It is reported that Jiangsu Bookstore will be set up in XCMG Brazil factory area.
This event was hosted by the Foreign Affairs Office of Jiangsu Province and the Investment and Trade Promotion Agency of Minas Gerais, Brazil. Liu Jiandong, Deputy Director of the Foreign Affairs Office of Jiangsu Province, Hu Feng, Vice President of Nanjing Agricultural University, Le Sizhe, Consul General of Brazil in Shanghai, Minas Ronaldo Barquette, Deputy Director of the Investment and Trade Promotion Agency of the State of Gilas, Ruizhen Nacentes, Vice President of the Federal University of Visosa, Brazil, and Paulo, Director of the Strategic Management and Economic Development Bureau of Bauso City, Minas Gerais State ·Pereira and XCMG Brazil representatives attended the event.
Liu Jiandong reviewed the various activities held by Jiangsu and Minas Gerais to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the friendship, and proposed that the two in the future should be led by sister cities, economic and trade as the medium, and culture as the link, to promote win-win cooperation and consolidate the foundation of friendship.
Le Sizhe said that the two have carried out extensive and in-depth cooperation in the fields of politics, economy and trade, culture, technology and innovation, which is a concrete manifestation of the increasingly close and diversified relations between China and Brazil.

Ronaldo Barquette said that under the framework of the friendship, the two sides have achieved fruitful economic and trade cooperation and also promoted friendly exchanges in other fields. He believes that the prospects for cooperation between the two will be even broader in the future.
At the closing ceremony, Li Zhi, Chief Cultural Officer of XCMG Brazil, introduced XCMG’s investment in Brazil and the status of rapid development in the past two years, and thanked the Provincial Foreign Affairs Office for its trust in XCMG. He said that these 1,600 books, which traveled 20,000 kilometers across the ocean to the other side of the ocean, carry the essence of the knowledge of the five thousand years of Chinese civilization, and represent the willingness of the Brazilian people to communicate with each other in an open and inclusive manner, as well as a powerful testimony to the 25th anniversary of the friendship.
