XCMG Machinery Accelerates Sustainable Development with Innovative Product Strategies on Earth Day 2023
In honor of Earth Day 2023, XCMG Machinery will further its dedication to fostering sustainable development within the construction equipment industry. This will involve increasing investments into the research and development of environmentally-friendly machinery technologies and products, enhancing production standards to achieve net-zero factories, and driving advancements in industrial upgrading.
XCMG has recently supplied a batch of LW500KV-LNG natural gas loaders, which boast robust performance and economic efficiency, to bolster railroad logistics. These loaders align with XCMG's eco-friendly operation policies, offering an environmentally sustainable solution.
In addition to meeting strict timing requirements, railroad logistics demands flexible and powerful equipment capable of maneuvering in limited space and completing high-intensity loading and unloading tasks round-the-clock. XCMG's LNG loaders are designed to address these specific needs, offering both flexibility and power.
With many industries in China working to achieve the "Dual Carbon" goals, XCMG is leveraging its years of industry experience and accelerated development roadmap of electric and intelligent products to introduce a series of pioneering and innovative technologies and products. By doing so, XCMG is taking a leading role in driving the green transformation of the construction machinery industry.
XCMG is committed to fully utilizing its capabilities and developing intelligent, high-end equipment, particularly in the new energy sector. This has led to the launch of the Sky Mirror HD+ global brand from XCMG Road Machinery, which is designed for high-grade asphalt pavement applications. XCMG has also introduced hydrogen-fueled trucks that have set a benchmark in China's hydrogen-fueled green energy transport industry.
XCMG is leading the way in advancing manufacturing technology and industrial upgrade to promote integrated resource utilization and environmental conservation. XCMG Hydraulics, in particular, has set a benchmark in green manufacturing development with its state-level "green factory" for high-end hydraulic components. The company has established a precise, long-term industrial waste disposal mechanism that converts wastewater into harmless water, which is then repurposed for various functions, including assembly, cleaning before electroplating, sanitation, and landscaping.
Moreover, the factory's production of waste gas fully complies with emission standards. XCMG Hydraulics has implemented measures to treat welding fumes and dust, achieving a 100 percent treatment rate in recent years. The company has also introduced the most advanced waste paint gas treatment process, significantly reducing the VOC emission concentration from 200mg to 30mg per cubic meter, which is well below national emission standards.
In line with its commitment to driving the green transformation of the construction machinery industry chain, XCMG Hydraulics has undertaken a series of remanufacturing projects, including the recycling of solid waste and used cylinders. These initiatives conserve energy and generate new value from scrapped parts and products.
Yang Dongsheng, Chairman of XCMG, reiterated the company's commitment to building a green and better future for people and the planet by driving the green transformation of the construction machinery industry chain, setting industry benchmarks for R&D, strategies, and green manufacturing through innovative product development and intelligent solutions.
