With the rapid development of cities, overpasses and tunnels have become necessary infrastructure to alleviate traffic pressure and improve traffic efficiency. However, there are also some hidden concerns.

Due to the interior structure of the tunnel, it is difficult to effectively discharge vehicle exhaust and fugitive dust. When mixed with engine oil, these tiny particles attach to the inner walls of the tunnel, forming stains.

These stains can weaken the light inside the tunnel, reduce air quality, and thereby affect the safety of driving in the tunnel. Therefore, cleaning and maintenance of the tunnel walls is a long-term and continuous task. At present, tunnel cleaning work is mainly carried out by hand. It is a time-consuming and laborious process that also requires an interruption of traffic for an extended period.

Based on this, XCMG wall cleaning vehicles are introduced, aiming to comprehensively improve city management and achieve full coverage of modern environmental sanitation operations. This model is a dedicated vehicle for cleaning tunnel walls and acoustic screens of overpasses.

XCMG wall cleaning vehicles can be used together with other road cleaning equipment to form an all-dimensional cleaning scheme for bridges and tunnels. The classic mode of "washing + sweeping" can be adopted for the main roads of bridges and tunnels. The XCMG cleaning vehicle washes the garbage to the sides of the road, next, the XCMG road sweeping vehicle is responsible for cleaning the garbage and recycling wastewater. Then, the wall cleaning vehicle is applied to quickly clean the walls and clean bridges and tunnels throughout.

The entire vehicle is equipped with two sets of multi-section folding booms, with a maximum extension height of 5.5m. The front and rear booms can operate simultaneously and be independently controlled, achieving coordinated cleaning of the left, right, and both sides of the wall. A single cleaning roller brush has a width of 2m and a diameter of 1m, with a wide range of operations and high efficiency. It can clean up to 18,000 square meters of walls per hour.

It is equipped with an independent high-pressure cleaning and washing system to achieve a strengthened cleaning effect. The process cleans all tough stains by wetting, brushing, and high-pressure washing. It has a tank volume of 10m³. The water pump can also flexibly adjust its speed, controlling the amount of water sprayed according to the pollution conditions of the working conditions, matching different pressure and flow requirements, and effectively saving water consumption. The equipment can operate continuously for more than 160 minutes with a single brush and more than 80 minutes with both brushes.

In operation mode, XCMG's wall cleaning vehicle relies on a hydraulic travel control system to achieve stable driving at low speeds. The travel system uses a high-performance transfer box, with a travel speed of 0-9 km/h, to ensure efficient cleaning at low speeds. In the transition mode, the maximum driving speed of the entire vehicle is 89 km/h, quickly realizing vehicle transition.
