Three Types of XCMG Hundred-ton Class Crane! How to Choose?

2024-02-20 11:44:29

On February 19th, the Chinese Lunar New Year has not yet passed, and another batch of fully assembled XCMG large tonnage cranes are about to go to global customers. Based on user usage scenarios, the localization rate of products below 300 tons has reached 100%, and all key components have been made in China. This batch of products will be widely used in multiple important construction fields such as wind power generation, infrastructure construction, petrochemicals, etc., to help accelerate project completion.

How to choose the wheel crane for this departure, which is mainly in the hundred ton and large tonnage range, in the face of different working conditions?

XCMG QY100K5C

We have conducted a lot of market research and found that many customers have a demand for using a 100 ton crane for construction inside the factory building. Due to space limitations, there is no need for a particularly long arm length in the factory building. A QY100K5C of 50.5 meters is completely sufficient, and a fully extended arm can lift 17.7 tons in a range of 10 meters. It has a decent lifting capacity, and K5C also has a unique skill - fast arm extension speed. QY100K5C adopts a double cylinder rope arrangement design, which has obvious advantages of fast arm extension and high efficiency. Within the operating range of the main arm, the telescopic efficiency of the main arm is significantly better than that of the six section and seven section arm products, especially in the construction of bridge projects that require frequent transitions, which can greatly improve work efficiency.

With a full counterweight of 31 tons, carrying 24.6 tons of counterweight during heavy load transfer can perfectly cover 92% of the operating conditions of the entire machine, saving money and worry. A 400 horsepower high-power engine with a 10 speed high torque gearbox, smooth shifting, and a maximum climbing ability of over 47%. While ensuring strong power, safety must also be ensured. XCMG's R&D engineers have equipped the QY100K5C with dual caliper disc brakes, which have excellent braking performance and unparalleled heat resistance, bringing a first-class driving experience.

XCMG QY100K6C1

The chassis of a 100 ton truck crane with five bridges is generally over 16 meters long in the industry. We have found that in some working conditions such as heavy lifting operations in factories, vehicles of this length are still not convenient to use. Therefore, XCMG's four bridges with 100 tons have emerged. According to regulations, the maximum body length of a four axle chassis is 15m. XCMG QY100K6C1 uses a four axle chassis with a body length of 14.98m, which is shorter than the five axle 100 ton product. The short body brings the advantage of not being easily limited by space for turning and moving. At the same time, its 100 ton lifting capacity also better meets the needs of large lifting operations in narrow spaces.

XCMG QY100K6C1 has six main arms of 60.5 meters, with a maximum lifting height of 78 meters for auxiliary arms, covering the lifting height and near end heavy lifting business of general medium-sized construction sites. In order to make counterweight transportation simpler and installation more efficient, XCMG has optimized the size of QY100K6C-1 counterweight blocks for more even weight, with up to 12 counterweight combinations and more flexible working conditions. Whether it is carried with the vehicle or transported, it is convenient, which can save transportation costs and labor costs.

XCMG QY100K7C-1

Many chemical construction sites have strict requirements and limited working space. XCMG designers have added an H-shaped support leg option for QY100K7C1, which has a double section H-shaped support leg with a transverse span of 8.1m, a five axle chassis, and a fully rectangular frame structure with stronger load-bearing capacity. The fifth axle uses a dedicated cylinder controlled steering system: the steering mode can be automatically or manually switched, allowing for flexible maneuverability at low speeds and easy entry and exit in narrow spaces. Adopting a dual oil cylinder preset displacement balance weight design: without the need for manual displacement, it can be moved back 0.5m, greatly improving lifting stability by more than 15%. Moreover, the operation of the balance weight displacement system is simple and reliable.

The front axle of QY100K7C1 adopts 385/95R25 large tires, and the rear load-bearing axle is equipped with dual tires. The rated 60t high load-bearing five axle chassis enhances its load-bearing capacity. Up to 40t counterweight, it can carry 31t counterweight or 27t counterweight+foot pads for transfer, without relying solely on the counterweight carried by the flatbed truck, it can cover 90% of its own working conditions, and can achieve single person hanging counterweight, which is simple and convenient, with fewer vehicle operators and more convenient transportation.

QY100K7C1 has seven 76m main arms and a maximum lifting height of 88.5m. The advantage of lifting high and far is obvious, and with the exclusive dual pump separation and convergence technology, the composite action operation is better. It has multiple intelligent arm control technologies, making lifting operations safer and more efficient.
