Recently, in the new intelligent manufacturing base of XCMG Foundation, a press conference was grandly held for the release of the world's largest rotary drilling rig XR1600E. Customers, industry experts, allies, staff representatives and media friends jointly attended the conference.

The XR1600E is the largest rotary drilling rig in the world at present, with a maximum drilling diameter of 7.5m, a maximum drilling depth of 190m, a power head output torque of 1600kn · m, a machine height of 42m, and a machine weight of 520 tons — equivalent to the weight of 65 elephants. It is known as the "world's No.1 drill".

Thanks to XCMG's strong technical accumulation and leading R & D platform, XCMG Foundation has successively launched XR550D, XR800E, XR1200E and other super tonnage products. The world's No.1 drill, XR1600E, is competent for super diameter, ultra-deep and ultra-hard pile foundation construction. It is the "super equipment" for super projects such as sea crossing bridges, offshore wind mill, super high-rise buildings.

The "world's No.1 drill" adopts a split drive station for the first time in the industry to ensure the convenience of modular disassembly and assembly. The whole machine has been upgraded in all aspects, including working performance, construction efficiency, function expansion, structural strength, safety protection, service life, daily maintenance, and the appearance. It has more than 20 invention patents, representing the new level of piling equipment in the world.
