Hanyun Platform from XCMG Machinery Obtains CMMI Level 5 Certification
XCMG's Hanyun Platform has achieved a
significant milestone in the global software industry by successfully obtaining
a Capability Maturity Model Integration level 5 (CMMI5) certification. CMMI5 is
the highest level of certification, and this recognition indicates that XCMG
Hanyun Platform has reached an international benchmark in software capability
maturity, software R&D capability, service delivery, and project
management. The certification was issued after an all-round assessment of the
applicable capability areas and practice areas of the Hanyun Platform by an
evaluation team using personnel interviews, on-site demonstrations, and
document inspection.
The CMMI certification is a joint
development of the United States Department of Defense, Carnegie Mellon
University, and the National Defense Industry Association, and is one of the
most prestigious certifications in the global software industry. It measures
the engineering development ability of software enterprises, with five levels
of certification, from initial to optimizing. The higher the level, the more
mature the enterprise software capability. The CMMI5 is the highest level,
recognized as the "ceiling" of software development capability
certification in the field.
XCMG Hanyun Platform had achieved the CMMI3
certification as early as 2017, which achieved the comprehensive integration of
technology R&D and quality management with international standards. The
successful passing of CMMI5 certification is another major breakthrough for
XCMG Hanyun Platform after being selected into the Gartner Magic Quadrant. The
platform has been instrumental in some of the world's top 500 and key
enterprises and has led the industry as a pioneer of the Industrial Internet of
Things (IIOT), providing digital transformation services for enterprises.
